Teach Them Grace

BIG NEWS. Y’all, a big piece of heart is officially on paper and my sister Claire, with @clairelewiscreative, made my dream come true to be able to share it with you in this beautiful way.

The classroom is a place for learning and that’s exactly what it was for me- as the teacher. I learned more from my students about extending grace and loving like Jesus than all the subjects I taught them combined.

I’ve gathered and bound these beautiful moments, painful growth spurts, and eye-opening truths into a book. It’s simple stuff really, and nothing that hasn’t been said somewhere else.

But just as it took a five year olds’ perspective to reach my heart, perhaps these pages will speak gospel truths in such a way that will uniquely resonate with you.

Not for a second do I pretend to be an expert on teaching or on the gospel, and certainly not on writing a book. But how the gospel can transform the classroom, our relationships, our lifestyle, and our ‘every day’ is something I simply cannot keep to myself.

It’s truly applicable for any follower of Jesus who has a heart of a learner.
